Oculy Eyewear is the vision of optician - David Mason.

From his time in practice, David was aware that often the colour and style of glasses available didn't match up to what customers wanted.

So, he set his sights on creating a solution, which offered clients the freedom to create the glasses that they were looking for whilst keeping the costs affordable. When looking at solutions, he discovered that 3d printing opened up a world of possibilities for glasses in terms of the shapes, styles and colours but also that it was a relatively cost effective means of production, offered less possibility of errors and reduced cutting waste whilst still producing a quality pair of spectacles as the end result.

         The features of Oculy

      Advanced SLS 3D Printing

The 3d printing method selected for the Oculy glasses is Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). It is an additive manufacturing technique that uses a laser to bind the material together to create a solid structure. This means that there are fewer visible layer lines and the material is really strong and durable and can be processed after production to create the design and style you are looking for.

With the Oculy Specs-Creator you can design your next glasses quickly and easily. With over 500 colour combination and over 180,000 possible designs for prescription, non-prescription glasses or sunglasses you can create the perfect look for you.

      High Quality Surface Finish

The printing process ensures a high-quality matt surface finish which is often compared to soft mint. As well as creating a unique and stylish finish, it also helps to prevent rubbing and irritation from your spectacles.

      Easily Adjustable

Oculy glasses can be easily adjusted to fit snugly around your ears at home without the need of tools. The fit can then be maintained where regular glasses can loosen over time.

Come on, try our Spec-Creator and design your next pair of glasses. We are looking forward to seeing what you create.
